The Authors
Richard W. Morris has been a lawyer since 1967, practicing in state and federal courts in Arizona and California. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in business administration, and a Juris Doctor degree. He is a former prosecutor in two states (Arizona and California).
Mr. Morris has also qualified as a solicitor (lawyer) in the United Kingdom, allowing him to practice law in 48 British Commonwealth jurisdictions. He represents Société Civile Succession Richard Guino, the French trust that owns the rights to many sculptures produced jointly by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Richard Guino. Richard W. Stevens holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and a Juris Doctor degree. He has practiced civil litigation in California and in Washington, D.C., where he taught legal research and writing at the law schools of both George Washington University and George Mason University.
Mr. Stevens has authored three previous books, edited and revised articles and monographs by others, and written numerous articles on a variety of subjects for legal and non-legal publications. He now resides in the Phoenix metropolitan area and concentrates on preparing legal briefs for trial and appellate court cases and doing legal research.
